Are you lucky???

Do you consider yourself a lucky person? I do, but not in the ways you’d expect. For example, I travel a fair amount and I’d say about 100% of the time, I get flagged for the “random” check at the airport security line. I also am the luckiest person when I wear light-colored clothes, which I do a fair amount because I’m about 10 for 10 when it comes to spilling coffee or dropping food that stains on myself… the moment after I’ve left the house. So yeah, I think I’m pretty lucky.

In all seriousness though, luck is a funny thing. There are those that absolutely buy into the idea that your fate is determined by luck and that’s all there is to it!

Or there are those that miss signs of luck by looking at someone else’s ‘reality’ that looks a heck of a lot more lucky!

I think I’m much more of a ‘luck is sort of fun when it happens’ sort of gal, but definitely not where I place much emphasis when it comes to the things that matter most to me.

Besides winning raffle baskets (which I never win), I think your luck increases the more work and intentionality you put into something.

I’m not saying hard work isn’t the end-all-be-all determining factor when it comes to success (or luck) but it sure has a lot to do with it.

The more energy you BOTH put into your relationship, the more likely you are to experience more connection.

The more focus you BOTH put into your communication, the more likely you are to have clear and productive conversations.

The more time you BOTH invest into continually getting to know each other, the more likely you are to feel seen and heard by one another.

Be sure you’re not just relying on luck to get by in your relationship. Instead… work together to become the luckiest couple around.

You got this!
